Frequently Asked Questions

I forgot how to add a friend.

Open the FRIENDS app, tap the + icon, and choose "Invite by QR" or "Invite by link". Your friend opens the link or scans the QR, and the two of you are connected — no email or phone number required.

I don't see my old messages on a new device.

FRIENDS uses Apple Quick Start to migrate your data when you set up a new iPhone. Make sure to use the official Apple Quick Start flow (device-to-device transfer) when switching phones — your photos, letters, and chat history will move with you automatically.

How is my data protected?

Your messages, voice and video calls, and letters are end-to-end encrypted. We never see the content. We don't ask for your name, email, phone number, or any account details. The only identifier we keep is a random UUID generated on your device.

How do I cancel my Premium subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Open the iPhone Settings app, tap your name at the top, then "Subscriptions" — and choose FRIENDS Premium to cancel anytime.

I found a bug or have a feature idea.

Why is FRIENDS iOS-only?

We carefully craft FRIENDS for the Apple ecosystem so the experience stays calm, seamless, and natural. Android is not currently planned.

友達の追加方法を忘れました

FRIENDS アプリを開き、+ アイコンをタップして「QR で招待」または 「リンクで招待」を選んでください。友達が QR を読み取るかリンクを 開くと、お互いつながります。メールアドレスや電話番号の登録は不要です。

新しい iPhone で過去のメッセージが見えません

FRIENDS は Apple クイックスタートでデータが新端末へ自動移行されます。 iPhone を機種変更する際は、Apple 公式のクイックスタート手順 (端末同士を近づけて行う移行) を必ずご利用ください。写真・手紙・ チャット履歴はすべて自動的に引き継がれます。

データはどう守られていますか?

チャット、音声・ビデオ通話、手紙はすべてエンドツーエンド暗号化で 保護されており、運営側がメッセージ内容を見ることはできません。 お名前、メールアドレス、電話番号などの個人情報は一切収集していません。 唯一の識別子は端末内で生成されるランダムな UUID のみです。

プレミアムプランの解約方法は?

サブスクリプションは Apple が管理しています。iPhone の「設定」 アプリを開き、上部のお名前 →「サブスクリプション」→「FRIENDS Premium」 でいつでも解約できます。

なぜ FRIENDS は iOS 専用なのですか?

Apple のエコシステムに合わせて丁寧に設計することで、静謐で シームレスな体験を実現しています。Android 版のリリース予定は ございません。
